Core Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Experience in quality surveillance or related fields
- Familiarity with ISO9000 and ANSI N45.2 standards
- Knowledge of ASTM, AWS, and ASME materials
- Experience in welding processes and interpretation of engineering drawings
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for supplier quality.
- Perform quality surveillance on supplier equipment.
- Conduct hands-on inspections for compliance.
- Review supplier quality documentation.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve nonconformance issues.
- Release compliant materials for shipment.
- Conduct audits of suppliers when assigned.
