Responsibilities
- Explain laboratory procedures to patients.
- Check and assess the condition of specimens.
- Ensure patient safety before and after sample collection.
- Examine specimens to identify abnormalities.
- Ensure the accuracy of test results.
- Document patient data through charting.
- Monitor inventory of medical supplies.
