- Perform phlebotomy on inpatients and outpatients.
- Maintain patient identification and specimen labeling.

- Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) as required.
- Assist in preparing specimens for external testing.
- Maintain good infection control practices in the lab.
- Train new staff and assist with quality assurance.
